Hengthor Architect

An architect’s portfolio, rebuilt around the work.

School for Children with Special Needs, Petaling Jaya, street elevation (render).

A content-led rebuild for a Kuala Lumpur architecture practice with a rare specialism in modular container buildings.

The challenge

Hengthor has completed 34+ projects across six building types, including a three-storey container kindergarten built in about two months. Its website, a 2017 WordPress install, had gone quiet and showed almost none of it. Paid CMS plans were out of budget too.

What we did

  • Crawled the old site to see what existed, what was broken and what search engines could find.
  • Planned the sitemap and content first: six building types, filterable projects and a fact sheet for every project that credits its consultants and contractors.
  • Wrote for search and AI answers, with guides planned on container architecture, kindergarten design and facade uplifts.
  • Built on Next.js with Sanity’s free plan on Vercel, so the practice adds projects itself, with no monthly CMS fee.

Where it is now

The sprint build is live for review, ahead of launch on hengthor.com [confirm date].
