An elderly digital wellness hub that helps Malaysian seniors and their families find trusted care, book it safely and learn new digital skills.
The challenge
Care information is scattered and hard to trust. Most apps are made for young eyes and quick fingers. And families want to help without taking over.
“Seniors aren’t gullible. They’re over-cautious. So safety has to be built into the product, not left to the user.”
What we did
- Mapped the needs of seniors, families and care providers into 6 senior personas, 5 family “co-pilot” personas and 11 partner types.
- Used journey maps and service blueprints to find where things could go wrong, from double bookings to family members acting without consent.
- Designed for real hands and eyes: large tap targets, 18px+ text with three size settings, strong contrast and one main action per screen.
- Built one codebase with five surfaces: a public care directory, a senior and family dashboard, a partner portal, an admin console and a partner website.
- Made trust part of the product. Families only see what a senior chooses to share, and care partners are checked before they earn a verified badge.
Where it is now
Phase 1 launches in [October 2026]. Our launch bar: at least 85% of seniors testing on real tablets can find and book a service. Booking takes five screens or fewer.
